Tom is Wide Eye's lead photographer in our Boise, Idaho operation and travels the world to shoot projects for major corporations. His is highly sought after for his work as a broadcast freelance cameraman. His client list includes ABC News Productions, Sony Pictures, Fox Television, ESPN, Major League Baseball, The Dr. Phil Show and E! Entertainment TV documentaries.
Tom recently crafted the visual look, directed and shot a half-hour historical documentary on famed explorers Lewis & Clark. The program, "Lewis & Clark, From the Mountains to the Sea" features historically accurate re-enactments shot in every season on remote mountaintops in Central Idaho. Tom's direction and cinematic vision helped create a powerful program that chronicles the nearly deadly ordeal encountered by the Corps of Discovery on their 1805 passage through Idaho's Bitterroot Mountains.
In his 15-plus years as a director and cameraman, Tom has shot (and often edited) dozens of broadcast television programs. From a 26-episode season of the nationally cable-cast program, "Cooking on the Wild Side" to more than 70 episodes of the award-winning series, "Incredible Idaho", a wildlife program hosted by the late Jack Hemingway.
