DESCRIPTION: All Departments: full surface and underwater support including, but not limited to, underwater rigging, platform or barge positioning and anchoring, blue or green screen underwater set-up. Plus, boat operation for transporting crew and supplies, and safety/rescue for cast and crew while working on or near the water.

Camera department: vessel operation for steadicam and camera positioning to get the best footage possible.

PRODUCTION JOB: Scope of responsibility was diverse and included full water based Aerial support including safety and rescue, pilot and stunt personnel training on the use of scuba and special rescue procedures, special equipment, techniques and use. Plus, aircraft (seaplane) handling support on swift water rivers, waterfalls, beaches with high surf zones and open oceans.

All Departments: full surface and underwater support including, but not limited to, underwater rigging, platform or barge positioning and anchoring, blue or green screen underwater set-up. Plus, boat operation for transporting crew and supplies, and safety/rescue for cast and crew while working on or near the water.

Camera department: vessel operation for steadicam and camera positioning to get the best footage possible.

Certified to administer aquatic training in safety, rescue, scuba, oxygen administration, and swimming skills for stunts, cast, and crew. Plus, marine and safety liaison for first and second units and all other departments.

Qualified to assist location scouts and production with any aquatic-based areas (oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, and caverns) with nautical chart reading, GPS positioning, tide, current, safety issues, weather assessments and logistical support and advisement.

Equipment bids, purchasing, and inventory tracking for a wide variety of marine gear to support production and other departments with their water base set-up and needs.

Safety Coordinator and/or support for independent lifeguards and diving units that are contracted by production to work on the movie set to meet OSHA and USCG standards.

U.S. Coast Guard licensed operator for ocean-going vessels, able to transport or arrange for ships, barges or other smaller vessels to and from destinations as needed by production. Plus, supervising and handling of tug, barge and salvage operations to meet all of productions needs.
