| DESCRIPTION: Industry Film School is an Avid Authorized Education Center. Classes are taught by Avid Certified Instructors in addition to being professionals working in the field. Avid Media Composer classes use Avid’s authorized curriculum to ensure you are getting the highest level of education directly from Avid. This course provides students with exposure to the core skills, workflows, and concepts involved in professional nonlinear editing on Avid Media Composer systems. During the course you will use the Avid system to input and organize source footage, edit sync and non‐sync material, trim sequences, adjust audio, create titles, and output work. The final product will be a finished program. Session time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice. |
