| DESCRIPTION: I'm Matthew Poertner. I'm a grip. Film and video production is not a job. It's a goal to accomplish. When I'm on a gig, time has a tendancy to stand still. All that matters is creating dreams and vision. It doesn't matter if it's charity video work for one night or a short film with 5 days of 18 hour shoots or a feature film 7 days a week for months at a time. All require the same passion - do everything I can to ensure a top-notch production. Planning and implementing lighting to picking up trash and passing out water. It all has to be done. When I'm part of a team, there's nothing that cannot be accomplished when we all work together. |
