He honed his skills in the business of non-fiction television shooting everything from sports, news, documentaries, to lifestyle TV. Darek is equally comfortable hanging out of a sailboat in the America’s Cup to filming the compelling and haunting story about Gerry Livingston and his famous basketball team. His passion and commitment to each and every project rightly make him a cameraman in constant demand.

Darek’s comprehensive experience in broadcast production including editing, lighting and sound design, allow him to bring a multidimensional approach to his projects. On location, he quickly spots visual opportunities and solves potential storytelling obstacles. Darek's keen interest in motion photography manifests itself in his substantial technical knowledge as well as an array of top of the line equipment. He is highly proficient shooting in Standard Definition and HD. He has recently shot with the Sony F-900 Cine Alta, Panasonic Vari-Cam and Canon 5D SLR camera, just to name a few.

He currently owns a Panasonic HDX-900 HD camera, Sony F900R HD camera, Sony PDWF800 XDHD camera and Panasonic HMC 150 as well as variety of wide and long HD lenses (camera gear) http://www.camartproductions.com/equipment.php#camera, as well as a complete Kino-Flo Diva and Chimera lighting kit (lighting gear ) that is standard on in town shoots.

He also has the equipment and expertise to professionally record audio with a complete sound package (sound gear) which includes eight Lectrosonics wireless microphones, 552 and 302 Sound Devices five channel mixers, Comtek wireless monitoring system and two Sanken boom microphones with Rycote wind systems.
